inbreeding coefficient

Inzuchtkoeffiezient (IK)

The Inbreeding coefficient indicates the degree of relatedness of the two parents. The IK is between 0% and 100%
. Ert is also a value for the probability b whether two alleles (genes) from some of the same gene locus origin. This is not a specific value, but merely indicated the probability that two alleles of a gene in a dog from the same ancestry ago.
The examples will be surrounded on a derivation based on 4 generations (should normally involve at least 5 generations). Here are the ancestors of IKs not before considered. Since, therefore, in the calculation of the IC always starting zero, older gene loss are not taken into account. Since then comes back to the ancestral loss coefficient (see previous issue) into the game.

inbreeding can be fixed in a population without outside to prevent cross breeding, but rather is constantly increasing but slowly. The degree of inbreeding increases depending on the population size. So the smaller a population is the faster of the inbreeding.

rule of thumb: The IC should be at a mating under 3, the AOD over 85

to calculate the inbreeding coefficient is used predominantly the formula of Wright. It reads:

F = [sum of] 0.5 ^ (n1 + n2 +1) * (1 + F (A))

F = inbreeding coefficient of the dog
m = number of common ancestors
¹ n = number generations between the dog and the common paternal ancestor
n ² = number of generations between the dog and the common maternal ancestor
FA = inbreeding coefficient of the common ancestor

example: Andora

first common ancestor is:

Bastian

on the paternal side he comes in 3rd Generation, ie n1 = 3
on the maternal side he comes in 3rd Generation, ie, n2 = 3

IK = 0.5 ^ (3 +3 +1) = 0.5 ^ 7 = 0.00781

second common ancestor is:

Wolf
on the paternal side he comes in 4th Generation, n1 = 4
on the maternal side he comes in 4th Generation, n2 = 4

IK = 0.5 ^ (4 +4 +1) = 0.5 ^ 9 = 0.00195

immersed Next, then Arico on . However, since in this case, the father Arico Bastian's and was caught by that, already, Arico is not considered further. The same applies to Mira . Because the ancestors of occurring on the paternal and maternal ancestor page may be considered only in the IK calculation when they occur independently of these ancestors once in the pedigree.

calculated for the entire IK Andora, therefore, of:

IK = 0.00781 + 0.00195 = 0.00976

The IK is ie: 0.976%
